A private commission
A 1.26-carat Umba Valley sapphire, cut as a Maya Drop — lavender going to deep purple, with a little blue in the shade. Set in platinum, on a vine-carved Alice band, with a handful of lab diamonds at the shoulders.
Drawn, cast, set, and finished for her. Nothing loud. Just the stone, and the work around it.
